NEW DELHI: The second phase of the Lok Sabha elections commenced on Friday, with voters across 13 states and union territories casting their votes for 88 seats.Over 1200 candidates from 12 States and UTs, along with an additional 4 candidates from the Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency, are vying for a place in the Lok Sabha during this phase of the elections.   As per the Election Commission, a total of 2633 nominations were filed for 88 parliamentary constituencies across 12 States and UTs going for polls in phase 2 for the Lok Sabha Elections.
