New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll met with the media on the team's first day of the offseason voluntary workout period known as "Phase One".

Daboll said he was "very pleased" with the high turnout and spoke to the speculation surrounding the team's plan at quarterback with the 2024 NFL draft less than two weeks away.

The Giants signed Drew Lock to a one-year, $5 million deal after Tyrod Taylor decided to sign with the Jets. They also still have Tommy DeVito under contract, so the room has some experience behind Jones.

The collective thinking is the Giants will use the sixth overall selection on either a quarterback (if the right one is available) or one of the three stud wide receivers in this year's class.
