But if you think about, we as millennials are always looking for ways to save a buck or two. And we're fine with renting cars, homes, furniture and a lot of other things. So, why does renting a lehenga for your wedding sound like a bad idea? Let me tell you a secret - it's not a bad idea to rent your bridal lehenga. The reality about why brides should rent their lehengas is that no one will look at you sideways for not buying your bridal lehenga. Many will applaud you for making such a wise choice, which will not only save you money but also allow you to look like a designer doll at your wedding. Still not convinced? Then let me give you 7 best reasons to rent a lehenga for your wedding that won't burn a hole in your pocket!

A lot of times, it's not about a particular design but our fascination with a designer. I, for one, have always dreamt of wearing a Sabyasachi lehenga at my wedding. Now whether it's the Bordeaux silk 'Dil Guldasta Lehenga' or maybe a lehenga design not even made yet, is undecided. However, buying a designer lehenga that I am going to wear only once and then lock it away in my closet makes no sense. So, as a true millennial, I'll prefer not to buy it and go for something cheaper. Similarly, any millennial bride would opt out of buying a designer lehenga if it doesn't fit her budget. But when the option for renting the lehenga comes in, then the designer's outfit becomes more accessible to those who do not wish to spend a big fat sum of money on it.
