News, views and video as the countdown to the Paris 2024 Olympics continues ahead of the opening ceremony on July 26. Team GB and ParalympicsGB kits unveiled
The official kit that Team GB and ParalympicsGB will wear for the Paris 2024 Olympics has been unveiled.
Designed by adidas, the kits will "unite all athletes with fresh interpretations of Great Britain's distinctive identity", according to a press release on Thursday.
It added that the range "enables athletes with and without disabilities to compete in comfort and without distraction".
Among the athletes showcasing the kits were Max Whitlock, Livvy Breen and Jazmin Sawyers.
Two-time Olympics bronze medallist in diving, Tom Daley, said: "Heading into my fifth Olympics, I can genuinely say that nothing compares to competing in my Team GB kit, knowing all the training I've done is gearing up towards hopefully winning a medal for my country.
"This new kit totally sums up that special feeling and I cannot wait to wear it in Paris this summer."
