Description

Power BI, a business analytics service by Microsoft, offers a variety of visualization options to help users analyze and represent their data effectively. Here are some of the common types of visualizations available in Power BI:   Tables:   Traditional tables present data in a tabular format, allowing users to view detailed information. Matrix:   Similar to a table but with the capability to group data hierarchically. Users can expand or collapse rows to view aggregated or detailed data. Card:   A simple visual element that displays a single value. Cards are often used to highlight key performance indicators (KPIs). Line Chart:   Represents data points with markers connected by straight lines. Suitable for showing trends over time or continuous categories. Area Chart:   Similar to a line chart, but the area between the line and the axis is filled, making it easy to see the magnitude of values. Column Chart:   Displays data using vertical bars. Useful for comparing values across different categories. Bar Chart:   Similar to a column chart but with horizontal bars. Useful for comparing values across categories in a horizontal layout. Stacked Column Chart:   Displays multiple sets of data in a single column, stacking them on top of each other. Useful for showing the total and individual contributions. Stacked Bar Chart:   Similar to a stacked column chart but with horizontal bars. Pie Chart:   Represents data as slices of a circular pie. Useful for showing the proportional distribution of a whole. Doughnut Chart:   Similar to a pie chart but with a hole in the center. Can be used for visualizing parts of a whole. Scatter Chart:   Displays individual data points as markers, useful for showing the relationship between two numeric variables. Map:   Geospatial visualization that displays data on a map. It can represent data using points, regions, or heatmaps. Gauge:   Represents a single value within a predefined range, often used to display KPIs or progress toward a goal. Card with States:   A card visualization that can display different states or conditions using custom icons or images. Tree Map:   Hierarchical representation of data using nested rectangles. The size of each rectangle represents the value of the data. Funnel Chart:   Visualizes a process with multiple stages, showing the reduction in values as the process progresses. Ribbon Chart:   Displays a series of connected arcs, useful for showing relationships and flow between different categories. KPI Indicator:   Represents Key Performance Indicators with visual indicators such as arrows, icons, or custom images. Custom Visuals:   Power BI supports a marketplace for custom visualizations created by the community, extending the range of available visualizations. These visualizations can be combined in Power BI reports and dashboards to create comprehensive and interactive data presentations. Users can explore, analyze, and gain insights from their data in a visually compelling manner.
