Lok Sabha Election 2024 LIVE Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to take the Bharatiya Janata Party’s campaign for Lok Sabha Election 2024 a notch higher in western Uttar Pradesh on Thursday with a mega rally in Agra.


The BJP aims to gather around 2 lakh people in the rally. The party has made arrangements for vehicles to transport people from each booth of all nine legislative assemblies in the district. BJP leaders also performed ‘Bhoomi Pujan‘ at Kothi Meena Bazaar ground, where the Prime Minister’s rally will be held.


Meanwhile, the poll campaign for the second phase ended on Wednesday, with top leaders of the BJP-led NDA and the opposition INDIA bloc making a last-gasp effort to woo voters.


The second phase of polling is scheduled for April 26. The end of the campaigning marks the commencement of a 48-hour silence period before polling. This phase will witness polling in 88 constituencies across 12 states and Union Territories, along with the remaining part of the Outer Manipur Lok Sabha constituency.
